This is an I2C relay board designed for remote 8-relay expansion for I2C bus, based on the PCF8574 chip. This board is ideal for expanding relay outputs via the I2C bus, and it is compatible with most microcontrollers.

The board supports a 100kHz I2C bus frequency.

Addressing is managed via 3 jumpers, allowing for the use of up to 8 boards or 64 relays. Additionally, up to 16 boards or 128 relays can be connected, as detailed in the board's datasheet.

Voltage Specifications:
Operating Logic Supply Voltage: 2.5V-5.5V with inverse polarity protection.
Relay Supply Voltage: 9V-13V with inverse polarity protection, with 12V recommended.

Relay Contact Rating:
  • 10A at 120Vac / 24Vdc
  • 6A at 250Vac
  • Rated for 100,000 life cycles.

  • The board also includes relay power-on protection to ensure safe operation.

    Important Safety Note: To prevent damage to the board, do not plug or unplug I2C cables while the power supply is turned on. Please turn off the power supply before plugging or unplugging I2C cables on the board.
