The I2C-AO112DI3 is a digital to analog output board. It supports Din-rail PCB holder. It is designed for 2-wire 4-20mA current loop transmitter. The 4-20mA analog output is controlled by I2C bus. It uses a 12-bit digital to analog converter. I2C signals on board are isolated from I2C bus signals by an isolation chip. So there is no effect to analog signals when boards are connected on the same bus. Also the board has a surge protector. It protects the board from transient voltage events. I2C bus working voltage for this board is 3-5V. Power supply voltage for 4-20mA analog output is 9-36V. The polarity protection circuits on board protect a damage from a mistake of connection. Two boards can be connected on the same bus. But it is possible to connect eight boards on the same bus when connecting two of each I2C-AO112DI0, I2C-AO112DI1, I2C-AO112DI2, and I2C-AO112DI3 together on the bus. Because they have own different addresses.

To prevent damage to the board. Don't plug and/or unplug I2C cables on the board while a power supply still turns on. Turn off a power supply before plug and/or unplug I2C cables on the board.
